We have been hard at work setting up a new blog for Golf Las Americas in Tenerife. In addition Golf Las Americas are dipping their toes into Social Media, so far we have helped with a twitter, facebook, youtube and flickr account.

I’m hugely disappointed in the online marketing for the Tenerife Ladies Open 2010. The raw basics aren’t being done, when so much of our Tenerife Golf budget is spent on one tournament we need to get maximum out of it.
My first issue is the European Ladies Tour that is coming here is predominantly English but the site http://www.tenerifeladiesopen.com is just in Spanish. When budgets are tight this is when we should be trying to get the best out of Social Media Marketing.
Buenavista Golf Course is hosting the event this year, take a look below at their website, this screen shot was taken 2 weeks before the tournament is meant to start. Notice anything missing, like the mention of this years biggest tournament!

My family and I have just returned from what was our 3rd trip to Hotel Las Aguilas in the North of Tenerife. The food was excellent, both for choice and quality, all the staff are very friendly, the hotel is very clean and well maintained, nothing is too much trouble, you only have to ask a member of staff and if at all possible they will sort it out.
Our Kids spent most of their time at the Mini Club. Maria and Alberto were fantastic in organizing Kiddies disco’s and Easter egg hunts.
I met the new hotel Director André Heeren and we had a quick conversation about marketing Hotel Las Aguilas online. Hotel Las Aguilas is a client of ours and we have already set up a blog, facebook, twitter and flickr account for them.
I can hightly recommend Hotel Las Aguilas even if it’s for a weekend getaway as we have just done. Visit website http://www.hotellasaguilas.com/en
