We just had a fantasitc Tenerife Ladies Open at Golf Las Americas, we look forward to welcoming the girls back next year!

Forget Panic Marketing what about NO marketing!

I’m hugely disappointed in the online marketing for the Tenerife Ladies Open 2010. The raw basics aren’t being done, when so much of our Tenerife Golf budget is spent on one tournament we need to get maximum out of it. 

My first issue is the European Ladies Tour that is coming here is predominantly English but the site http://www.tenerifeladiesopen.com is just in Spanish. When budgets are tight this is when we should be trying to get the best out of Social Media Marketing.

Buenavista Golf Course is hosting the event this year, take a look below at their website, this screen shot was taken 2 weeks before the tournament is meant to start. Notice anything missing, like the mention of this years biggest tournament!

I was asked to join a good friend Sir Old Golfer for a round of golf at the fantastic Golf Costa Adeje course. I love to play, but don’t play often enough. After a real battle though 18 holes I managed to hole the last put of the game to halve the match.
